What can we offer?

Kids Biz Therapy Centre is a private clinic that provides
comprehensive therapy for children and families.
Kids Biz is located in Innaloo and offers clinical psychology, speech
pathology and occupational therapy to children aged 0 to 18 years.
Our objective is to work in close collaboration with each child and
family to enhance the child's ability to participate in family, home and
school life.
We have recently expanded our speech pathology services and would
like to take this opportunity to offer services for the local schools in
the surrounding community.
As well as providing individual assessment and therapy to children we offer consultation and
professional development to schools and early childhood facilities.
Therapists are available to provide Professional Development to teaching staff and/or parents on a
range of topics. For example;

Supporting children with communication difficulties in the classroom (including Augmentative and Alternative Communication, AAC)

Comprehension and Receptive Language;

Phonological Awareness (Pre-Literacy Skills);

Vocabulary Development or Speech Sound development;

Narrative & Storytelling Skills;
-
Key Word Signing (formerly known as Makaton)
Professional development may be provided in 1:1 meetings, workshops or demonstrated with a group or whole class of students.

As part of our service we are able to offer a number of programmes to help identify developmental areas where we can help the family and child to address and in many cases resolve the problem.
Our therapists that conduct these programmes are highly qualified and experienced in assessing children in private and public services.
